About PBTSD

We met in college and have been brothers ever since. Together we bring a unique dynamic to our students and our approach to training. We bring a multidimensional view to our understanding and vision of Budo as taught by our teachers and mentors in the Bujinkan.

Dave has over 20+ years of history in various Martial Arts with Dan rankings in Tang Soo Do, Tae Kwon Do and as of June of 2005 became a licensed teacher (Shidoshi-5th Dan and Above) in Ninjustu.

Brent got his start in Martial Arts in college after meeting Dave and also holds Dan Rankings in Tang Soo Do and in June 2005 he became a licensed teacher (Shidoshi – 5th Dan and above) in Budo Taijutsu.

We both now hold a Shoden License (Shodan) in Muso Ikken Ryu Batto Jutsu of the Enbukan under Soke Machida. We achieved this rank on a trip to Japan in 2003, what a great experience. We look forward to pursuing more of this art in the near future.

We have a very simple philosophy about our training in the Bujinkan as well as how we live our lives every single day: Experience life to the fullest, appreciate what you have and love and cherish the people that are important in your life. You only get one chance at this ride folks and you should make the most of it. We do not train to learn how to fight; we train to learn how to live. Our goal is to see where this path will lead. If you care to join us, all we ask is an open mind and an open heart as you walk beside us on the journey. We would also like to give our eternal thanks for those who have walked the path before us.

Sincerely,

Brent & Dave
